Connecticut Real Estate License Requirements
- The first requirement: you have to be a citizen of the United States or a lawful permanent resident

- The fourth requirement: you have to work as a broker or salesperson for 24 month and real estate industry must be your main occupation
- Only then you are allowed to pass the licensing examination.
Real Estate Broker Licensure Exam in Connecticut
There are 2 parts in Connecticut Real Estate Salesperson Exam. The first part is called national part. The second part is called state specific part. The national part consists of 80 questions, answer 56 questions correctly and you will be allowed to pass the next part of the Exam. 120 minutes are provided for you to answer 80 questions. The next part – state specific – consists of 30 questions. Make sure you answer 21 of them. 44 minutes are provided for you.

If you successfully pass the first part of the exam, you can pass the second part during 12 months and if you fail any of these 2 parts, you also will have 12 months period to retake it.
The Connecticut real estate salesperson exams are taken on computers. You can watch your results right after finishing the exam. You can’t take anything with to the exam room, only simple functioning calculators are allowed.
You will have to pay $52 of the registration fee to take the Connecticut Real Estate salesperson exam.
The retake fee is $52 or $47, whether you take one or both parts of the exam.
