Georgia Real Estate License Requirements
- Age: 21 years old
- Degree: a high school diploma or a GED
- Crime record: a Georgia Crime Information Report (GCIC) (up to 60 days old). Fee – $25
- Trainings: a 60 hour prelicensing broker’s course OR 15 quarter hours or 9 semester hours in real estate courses at an accredited college or university
- Exam: successfully pass 2 parts
Real Estate Broker Licensure Exam in Georgia There are 2 parts in Georgia Real Estate Salesperson Exam. The first part is called national part. The second part is called state specific part. The national part consists of 100 questions, answer 75 questions correctly and you will be allowed to pass the next part of the Exam. The next part – state specific – consists of 52 questions. Make sure you answer 39 of them. 4 hours are provided for you to answer both parts of the exam. The national part of the exam lasts for 2.5 hours. Georgia state specific part lasts for 2 hours.
Real Estate Salesperson Exams in Georgia are administered by AMP inc. exams at www.goamp.com.
If you successfully pass the first part of the exam in Georgia, you can pass the second part during 12 months and if you fail any of these 2 parts, you also will have 12 months period to retake it.
The Georgia Real Estate Salesperson Examinations are taken on a computer. You can watch your results right after finishing the exam. You can’t take anything with to the exam room, only simple functioning calculators are allowed.
You will have to pay $97 of the registration fee to take the Georgia Real Estate salesperson exam.
